Brand X was formed by team owner Ben Walters in the winter of 2006 to compete in the WERA/AMA National Endurance Series. The team had a tough first season losing a rider to injury, fierce frame breaking crashes, and stiff competition. The team ended the season on a high note with their first overall victory under their belt and 3rd overall. The team has changed up the roster a bit from last season. Brett will be returning again this season, Ben will also be returning, and joining the team is the infamous Tripp Nobles.
Brand X has joined forces with Yamaha and Jamie James to help insure greater success for this young team. Brand X will also be wearing RS-Taichi leathers courtesy of Moto-Liberty. The Yamaha R1 will be protected by Silkolene Lubricant's for the 2008 racing season. Michelin will be providing the grip. Motion Pro will be providing high quality tools to maintain the bikes. AOD will be lending there expertise again this season. Jim Williams of 13x.com has chosen to support the racing effort for one more season. TGD Racing will be providing the graphics for the bike and transporter.
